Financial StatementPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure accurate preparation of the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.Review general ledger accounts, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.Ensure revenue and expenses are recorded in the correct accounting period.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate unusual movements.Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.Provide financial statements and supporting schedules to management, auditors, and other stakeholders.Analyze financial results against previous periods and identify significant variances.2. Intercompany ReconciliationReconcile transactions between group companies on a monthly basis.Match intercompany receivables, payables, income, expenses, and transfers.Investigate and resolve differences between entities.Ensure intercompany balances are confirmed and agreed before month-end closing.Record appropriate intercompany journals and adjustments.Coordinate with finance teams of different subsidiaries/entities.Ensure intercompany transactions are properly documented and supported.Assist with elimination entries during group/consolidated reporting.3. Management Reporting (MIS)Prepare accurate and timely Management Information System (MIS) reports.Develop monthly management reports covering revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, receivables, payables, and business performance.Prepare actual-versus-budget and actual-versus-forecast analysis.Highlight significant variances and provide explanations to management.Develop financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).Provide management with financial insights to support business decisions.Track departmental and business-unit performance.Prepare customized reports for senior management and directors.4. Group Cash Flow OptimizationMonitor cash inflows and outflows across the group.Prepare short-term and medium-term cash-flow forecasts.Identify upcoming funding requirements and potential cash shortages.Optimize the timing of payments and collections.Monitor customer collections and outstanding receivables.Coordinate intercompany fund transfers where appropriate.Maintain sufficient liquidity while minimizing idle cash.Analyze cash utilization across different entities and business units.Report cash-flow risks and opportunities to senior management.5. Budgeting & ForecastingCoordinate the annual budgeting process across departments and entities.Collect financial assumptions and business projections from department heads.Prepare revenue, expense, profit, and cash-flow budgets.Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.Compare actual performance against approved budgets.Investigate significant variances and recommend corrective actions.Update forecasts based on actual business performance and changing assumptions.Support management in financial planning and resource allocation.Establish appropriate cost-control measures.6. Internal & External AuditsInternal Audit:Review financial processes and internal controls.Identify weaknesses, financial risks, and potential control gaps.Ensure proper authorization and documentation of financial transactions.Conduct periodic reviews of accounting records and processes.Recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls.External Audit:Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents, and financial statements.Respond to auditor queries and provide necessary explanations.Track audit observations and ensure timely corrective action.Coordinate with different departments to obtain required documentation.Support the completion of statutory audits within deadlines.7. Tax Returns & Corporate TaxEnsure timely preparation and submission of applicable tax returns.Maintain accurate tax-related accounting records and supporting documentation.Review tax calculations and reconcile tax accounts.Monitor tax filing deadlines and payment obligations.Ensure transactions are properly classified for tax purposes.Coordinate with external tax consultants where required.Maintain records required for tax audits and inspections.Monitor changes in applicable UAE tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including taxable-income calculations, adjustments, documentation, and filing requirements.Assist with VAT compliance where applicable.8. Supervision of TeamsManage and supervise the accounting and finance team.Allocate responsibilities and establish deadlines.Review the work of accountants, finance executives, and other team members.Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.Train and mentor team members.Monitor individual and team performance.Establish standard operating procedures for finance processes.Resolve accounting and operational issues within the team.Coordinate with HR regarding payroll, performance, leave, and staffing requirements.Ensure adequate segregation of duties and internal controls.9. ERP Handling & Group AnalysisManage and monitor accounting activities through the company's ERP system.Ensure accurate posting of financial transactions in the ERP.Review chart of accounts, cost centers, customer/vendor accounts, and financial mappings.Generate financial reports from the ERP.Identify and resolve system-related accounting discrepancies.Coordinate with IT/ERP support teams regarding system issues and enhancements.Analyze financial performance across different companies, branches, departments, and cost centers.Consolidate financial information for group-level reporting.Support ERP implementation, upgrades, automation, and process improvements.10. Dispute / Refund ManagementMonitor customer and vendor financial disputes.Investigate disputed invoices, payments, deductions, and account balances.Coordinate with sales, operations, customer service, and management to resolve disputes.Verify refund requests against company policies and supporting documentation.Review and approve refunds within delegated authority.Maintain a record of outstanding disputes and refunds.Track resolution timelines and ensure timely closure.Identify recurring dispute issues and recommend process improvements.Ensure refunds and adjustments are properly recorded in the accounting system.11. Payroll / WPSReview and coordinate monthly payroll processing.Verify employee salary, allowances, deductions, commissions, incentives, leave adjustments, and other payroll components.Reconcile payroll with accounting records.Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within required timelines.Coordinate with HR regarding new joiners, resignations, salary changes, leave, and final settlements.Review payroll reports before submission/payment.Ensure compliance with the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements where applicable.Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and payroll information.Reconcile payroll-related bank transactions and accounting entries.12. Bank-Related Chargebacks / Acquiring-Side Cash HandlingThis area is particularly relevant where the business receives payments through card terminals, payment gateways, or acquiring banks.Bank ReconciliationReconcile daily/monthly bank statements with the accounting system.Match customer receipts, transfers, withdrawals, bank charges, and other transactions.Investigate unidentified or unmatched transactions.Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled within the required closing timeline.ChargebacksMonitor customer chargebacks received through banks/payment providers.Review the reason and supporting documentation for each chargeback.Coordinate with sales, customer service, operations, and payment providers.Prepare supporting evidence for disputed transactions where appropriate.Track chargeback status until resolution.Record chargebacks, reversals, fees, and adjustments accurately in the accounting system.Analyze chargeback trends and identify potential operational or customer-service issues.Acquiring / Payment ProcessingMonitor collections through payment gateways and acquiring banks.Reconcile gross transaction values against settlements received.Verify MDR/payment-processing fees and other bank charges.Track settlement delays and outstanding merchant balances.Reconcile card transactions with customer invoices and accounting records.Coordinate with banks/payment providers regarding settlement discrepancies.Maintain proper documentation for payment transactions and settlements.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional Certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or UAE VAT/Tax Certification) is a strong advantage.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.What We OfferCompetitive salary package.Visa and medical coverage.A collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong career growth potential.Ready to take your finance career to the next level?Apply now and be part of our dynamic and high-performing team in the heart of Dubai.Work Location: In person
