Our client is a multinational insurance company with offices in Dublin. They are seeking a commercially minded and analytical Finance Analyst to join their finance team.The successful candidate will support financial planning, reporting, analysis and decision-making across the business. This role will suit someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and an interest in working within the insurance or wider financial services sector.Main Responsibilities:Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.Analyse financial performance and investigate key variances against budget, forecast and prior periods.Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation and consolidation of financial models.Prepare management reports and provide insightful analysis to support business decision-making.Support the preparation of financial presentations and reporting packs for senior management and other stakeholders.Work closely with finance and wider business teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information.Assist with the development and maintenance of financial models and reporting tools.Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability and other key financial and operational metrics.Support the implementation and improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting procedures.Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.Ensure reporting and analysis is completed in line with internal policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Requirements:Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.Part-qualified, qualified or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification would be advantageous.Previous experience in a finance, financial analysis, FP&A, accounting or related role.Experience within the insurance, financial services or wider regulated environment would be desirable but is not essential.Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work with and analyse large volumes of data.Experience with financial reporting systems and/or ERP systems would be an advantage.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.A proactive and commercially minded approach to problem-solving.Strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy.Package: Highly competitive base salaryBonusPensionHealthcareLong list of additional benefits
