Our clients start seeing cost savings and risk reduction within 3 months.The RoleWe're looking for a Finance Operations Associate to help build and scale the Finance and Ops function. Working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, you will own day-to-day finance operations while developing the systems, processes, and reporting that enable the company to grow.What You’ll DoBuild and continuously improve internal finance systems, controls, and operational workflowsSupport month-end close, including expense reviews, reconciliations, and budget updatesCoordinate payroll and pension administration with external providersSupport purchase orders, supplier invoice, and payment processesHelp develop financial policies and ensure compliance with internal controlsMaintain accurate financial records in collaboration with external accountantsPrepare financial reporting for internal and external stakeholdersPartner with the wider teams to streamline and improve specialised procurement processesWork with the operations team to design scalable finance processes as the company growsWhat You Bring Essential:Experience in financial reporting, FP&A, management accounting, project finance, or a similar analytical finance roleStrong understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes under FRS102Strong understanding of UK and US taxesExperience in supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, or financial analysis to support business decisionsProven ability to build and improve processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiencyExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance teamsA proactive, hands-on approach and enthusiasm for building processes in a growing startupNice to have:Experience working in an early-stage startup or scale-upDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related disciplineWhat we offerUnlimited vacation daysFlexible, remote workingEmployer subsidized health insurance, including medical, dental, visionEmployer-sponsored 401(k) planA real training ground to succeed in your careerBe part of a hyper-growth, early-stage startup where your work shapes the companyMonthly wellness benefits and other perks to support you outside of workRegular team events and offsite retreats, most often in EuropeWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
