Apply & track with Apply EdgeBitexen is looking for a hands-on Finance and Reporting Specialist to support the CFO across accounting oversight, financial and regulatory reporting, management information, treasury and cash-flow management.The role will coordinate outsourced accounting service providers and ensure that the companies’ financial records, reporting obligations, internal controls and treasury processes are maintained accurately and on time. The successful candidate will work across a broad finance scope and will be expected to take ownership of day-to-day execution and follow-up.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the CFO across accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, treasury, budgeting and management information requirements.Coordinate and review the work of outsourced accounting service providers, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial statements and supporting documentation.Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes and follow up on outstanding accounting and reporting matters.Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial performance reports and reporting packs for the CFO, senior management and the Board.Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, cash-flow projections and budget-versus-actual analyses.Monitor cash positions, liquidity requirements, payment schedules, operating expenses and banking balances.Support the preparation, review and timely submission of financial and regulatory reports required by ADGM and the FSRA.Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, schedules and supporting documentation for regulatory, management and audit purposes.Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, tax advisors, VAT advisors, banks and other financial service providers.Support banking operations, payment processes, account administration and treasury-related activities.Review invoices, expenses, vendor payments and supporting documents in line with internal approval processes.Assist in maintaining and improving financial controls, approval matrices, finance policies and reporting procedures.Support internal and external audit processes and ensure that requested information and evidence are provided accurately and on time.Analyze financial data, identify variances and trends, and provide practical insights to support management decision-making.Support the financial and accounting assessment of new products, services, commercial arrangements and business initiatives.Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting, reporting, treasury and finance processes.The role covers the outsourced accounting oversight, financial reporting, regulatory reporting and treasury responsibilities currently reflected in the existing draft, but positions them as a broader CFO-support function rather than a standalone accounting supervisor role.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, audit or treasury.Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end closing and management reporting.Experience coordinating with outsourced accounting providers, auditors, tax advisors and other external service providers.Experience in a regulated financial services, fintech, payments, brokerage or digital assets environment is strongly preferred.Experience with ADGM, DIFC or another regulated financial-services environment is an advantage.Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, internal controls and audit requirements.Ability to prepare cash-flow forecasts, budgets, variance analyses and management reports.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple workstreams, follow up effectively and meet strict reporting deadlines.Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.Professional proficiency in English.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting or ERP systems.Preferred QualificationsProfessional accounting qualification or progress towards ACCA, CPA, ACA, CMA or an equivalent qualification.Experience in digital assets, crypto exchanges, custody, trading platforms or financial markets.Familiarity with regulatory reporting and financial-control requirements applicable to regulated financial institutions.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is practical, accountable and comfortable working across a broad finance scope.
