Apply & track with Apply EdgeVirtuEdge Group has openings for FINANCE AND SUSTAINABILITY INTERNS who will be onboarded, under an "Educate-Empower-Engage" model to develop a core team to support the finance team and sustainability initiatives.The posts are either full-time, on-site roles at the Group's Tivandrum Centre of Excellence [CoE], or in flexible hybrid and contractual mode, depending on an applicant's status, the main course pursued, if any, or job priorities and their suitability for the challenging ESG and other projects.Target Audience & EligibilityGraduates, Postgraduates, & Professional Aspirants (CA, CMA, ACCA, MBA, FY UGC NET) and research fellows and academicians: Open for career opportunities, upskilling, course credits, and placement assistance with flexible batch schedules.Undergraduates & Distance Learners (e.g., IGNOU): College-level batches invited for career orientation, guidance, and experiential training in an automated/AI-driven environment.Finance Internship or consulting rolesMaintaining Tally and similar automated Accounting systems for MSMEs, preparing Financial and Management reports, analysing financial statements, supporting accounting and MIS activities, performing tax and regulatory compliance filing and monitoring tasks, and maintaining accurate financial records and assisting Assurance teams in audits and reviews.ESG Internship or consultancy roles:Track, collect, and report sustainability metrics, support basic impact assessments, and assist in preparing performance presentations aligned with applicable standards. Conduct research on MSME sustainability reporting best practices and sustainable finance, gather data across teams, and communicate insights clearly. Interns will collaborate closely with supervisors to ensure compliance with internal policies and drive continuous improvement in financial and sustainability workflows.Preferred Candidate Traits & SkillsFinance & Accounting: Strong grasp of basic financial concepts, budgeting, journal entries, reconciliations, and record-keeping.Financial Analysis: Ability to interpret financial statements, cash flows, and MIS reports to support decision-making.Technical & Analytical Aptitude: Proficient in spreadsheets and basic office productivity tools, with sharp attention to detail and data analysis skills.Communication & Teamwork: Proactive written/verbal skills, strong time management, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a professional setting.Values & ESG Alignment: Ethical, empathetic, and integrity-driven, with a demonstrated interest in ESG, CSR, or environmental responsibility as a strong advantage.INTERNSHIP AND ONBOARDING HIGHLIGHTS:Selection Criteria: Shortlisting, ranking, virtual/walk-in interview. Optional tests and Group discussions, and signed acceptance of written terms of appointment with all documentation submitted as per HR rules.Pre-Induction Development Program [PDP]: 2 Months OR 30 Sessions & Weekend Workshops of 2-3 hours, including Case study reviews (PDP will be offered Free or at a discount for deserving candidate batches, at management's sole discretion)Stipend after PDP engagement: CTC range ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (upon successful completion and selection after the PDP or probation, which includes local conveyance). Successful candidates will be objectively assessed and recommended for placement to other consultancies, firms, NPOs & enterprises.Performance-Linked Incentive: Up to 50% of CTC will be payable as a performance-linked incentive (calculated half-yearly based on pre-set goals at management discretion).
