Role Description The Director role at Newgen Software is a full-time, on-site position based in Tamil Nadu, India. The Director will oversee strategic planning and execution for key business functions, ensuring alignment with Newgen’s platform vision and enterprise customer needs. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, driving growth initiatives, managing performance metrics, and ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions and services. The role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, shaping product or business roadmaps, managing budgets, and mitigating risks. The Director will also mentor team members, foster an inclusive and high-performance culture, and represent Newgen in executive-level customer and partner discussions.QualificationsDemonstrated leadership experience in technology, enterprise software, or digital transformation, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.Strong strategic planning and execution skills, including experience with roadmap development, performance management, and operational excellence.Background in enterprise platforms, workflow automation, content management, or AI-driven solutions, with the ability to translate complex technology into business value.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, including experience engaging with senior executives and external partners.Ability to analyze data and metrics to guide decisions, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.Experience in budget management, risk assessment, and compliance or governance frameworks within an enterprise setting.Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an advantage.Experience working in or with global organizations and comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.Commitment to inclusive leadership, ethical decision-making, and fostering a non-discriminatory, collaborative workplace.
