Apply & track with Apply Edge.Role Description The Director at NIAT will lead the Bhilai center, overseeing strategy, operations, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery of upskilling programs. This full-time, on-site role includes managing partnerships with universities and industry, guiding program design and implementation, and monitoring outcomes and quality standards. The Director will supervise and mentor cross-functional teams, coordinate faculty and trainers, and ensure smooth academic and administrative processes. Responsibilities also include budget planning, reporting on performance metrics, driving local outreach and branding initiatives, and identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement in line with NIAT’s mission.QualificationsProven leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and building a high-performance culture.Background in academic administration, education management, or corporate training, ideally with exposure to technology or innovation-driven programs.Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities to work effectively with universities, industry partners, and internal teams.Strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills to design, implement, and scale programs efficiently.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent NIAT to external partners and speak at academic or industry forums.Analytical and data-driven mindset to monitor program performance, interpret metrics, and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and operational oversight to manage center-level finances and processes.Master’s degree in a relevant field (such as Management, Education, Engineering, or related discipline); a higher qualification is an advantage.Prior experience in leadership roles within education, edtech, or skill development initiatives is highly desirable.
