Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Overview:The Finance Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the finance department in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial principles and procedures. The Finance Assistant Manager will assist in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial regulations.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.Support in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual financial performance against the budget and provide variance analysis.Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Ensure that internal controls are in place and operating effectively. Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Conduct financial analysis, including profitability, cost analysis, and cash flow forecasting, to provide actionable insights to management.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs within the finance function.Lead or assist with special finance projects, system upgrades, process improvements, and other tasks as required. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting roleProficiency in accounting software. Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate finance best practices.Very good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
