It was featured in the Financial Times and Statista's Top 500 High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2026 list and named "Most Disruptive Insurtech in Malaysia" at the Insurance Asia News (IAN) Country Awards for Excellence 2025.Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance operations and management account preparation for Polisea Labuan Ltd, the insurance arm of PolicyStreet Group.Key responsibilities include:Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing Responsible for the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of management account packs, financial statements and regulatory submission Maintain and ensure completeness and accuracy of general ledger records Prepare balance sheet schedules, debtor and creditor statements of accounts and perform account reconciliationsAccounts Payable & Treasury Prepare payment submissions and ensure proper supporting documentation Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper controls over cash transactionsAudit, Compliance & Process Improvement Liaise with external auditors, company secretaries and regulators in supporting statutory audit and regulatory filing processes Assist in implementing of new accounting software, accounting policies and internal controlsRequirementsDegree in Accounting or professional qualificationCandidates who are currently pursuing professional accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply3-6 years of experience in financial reporting, month-end close, and management accountsPreferred: Experience in general insurance, reinsurance, or general takaful, with exposure to IFRS 17Open to audit background, specifically Financial Institutions (Insurance) clients, OR finance reporting experience in SaaS, fintech, or digital platform businesses with subscription-based revenue/deferred revenue modelsStrong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and audit/regulatory reportingBenefitsPERKS YOU'LL GET TO ENJOY WHILE WORKING HERE!Medical and Life insuranceA wide range of health benefits - including optical, dental, and physiotherapyOpportunities to experience continuous and rapid growth as well as skills enhancement.
