Finance Business Analyst (IT Systems)

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to work closely with Finance and Technology teams in enhancing financial systems, improving business processes and supporting data-driven decision-making.The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of finance/accounting processes, combined with Business Analysis experience and technical knowledge of SQL, databases and C#/.NET applications.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze and document business and functional requirements from Finance stakeholders.Translate Finance requirements into functional specifications, user stories and process flows.Analyze existing Finance processes and identify opportunities for system and workflow improvements.Support Finance processes including AP, AR, GL, month-end closing, asset management and cost allocation.Work closely with developers on enhancements involving C#/.NET applications and database-driven processes.Perform SQL queries, data extraction, validation and reconciliation to support analysis and system changes.Coordinate UAT, test scenarios, defect tracking and business sign-off.Support system enhancements, change requests, implementation and post-production activities.Liaise between Finance users, IT teams, developers and vendors to ensure requirements are delivered effectively.Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, user guides and training materials.Support process automation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsDiploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.3+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably supporting Finance or Accounting functions.Good understanding of AP, AR, GL and other Finance processes.Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis and UAT.Hands-on knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Working knowledge of C#/.NET concepts and ability to engage with developers.Exposure to SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or other Finance/ERP systems would be advantageous.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.CBAP/IIBA, ACCA, CPA or related certifications would be advantageous.Please send your detailed resume in MS Word format to resume@goldtecHRs.com withEducation LevelWorking experiencesEach employment backgroundReason for leaving each employmentLast drawn salaryExpected salaryDate of availability
