Based in Dubai, this regional role supports our operations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC region, partnering closely with business leaders to drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, strengthen controls, and lead finance transformation activities.Reporting directly to the General Manager Middle East, you will act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, translating business priorities into meaningful financial insight while ensuring strong governance and operational excellence across the region.You will work across our Window Covering Products and Architectural Products businesses, partnering with Finance, GBS, Accounting, Operations, Procurement, HR, IT and Sales to support both day-to-day performance and key transformation initiatives.This is more than a finance role. It is an opportunity to influence strategy, improve business performance, and help shape the future of Hunter Douglas in one of our most dynamic regions.Key responsibilitiesFinance Transformation & Process ImprovementLead and support finance improvement initiatives across ERP systems, reporting tools, Monday.com, SuperOffice, and quotation processes.Drive key regional projects including e-invoicing implementation, ERP enhancements, legal entity separation, and other strategic finance transformation initiatives.Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability.Strategic Business PartneringPartner with senior leadership to support commercial and strategic decision-making.Provide financial analysis on pricing, project profitability, quotation pipelines, order books, and growth opportunities.Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and convert data into actionable recommendations.Support major business decisions, including pricing strategies, sourcing scenarios, investment cases, and regional growth initiatives.Financial Planning & Performance ManagementLead rolling forecasts based on sales pipelines, project milestones, order books, and invoicing plans.Coordinate the annual budgeting process across the Middle East region.Deliver insightful management reporting, KPI analysis, cash flow visibility, and variance commentary.Drive a performance-focused culture by establishing effective reporting routines and business reviews.Finance Leadership & GovernanceMaintain oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities.Coordinate external audits and support compliance with VAT, Corporate Tax, and evolving regulatory requirements.Ensure strong internal controls and governance across Hunter Douglas Middle East operations.Oversee banking relationships, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and documentary credit processes.Working Capital & Cash ManagementImprove forecasting and visibility of cash flow, collections, and invoicing readiness.Drive stronger order-to-cash discipline and support improvements in working capital performance.Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to improve financial transparency and accountability.What we’re looking forProfessional finance qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, RA, RC, or equivalent.Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Financial Controlling, or Commercial Finance within an international environment.Strong understanding of accounting controls, working capital management, cash forecasting, and financial reporting.Experience with ERP systems, financial modelling, and process improvement initiatives.Knowledge of Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, and documentary credits would be advantageous.Exposure to ERP implementation, finance transformation, audit coordination, and tax compliance topics is highly desirable.Experience within project-based industries such as manufacturing, construction, architectural products, building materials, capital goods, or similar B2B sectors.Highly analytical with strong commercial judgement.Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and challenging constructively.An effective communicator who can simplify complex financial information.Organised and process-oriented, with the ability to build sustainable ways of working.Adaptable and energised by change, transformation, and continuous improvement.A collaborative partner who builds strong relationships across functions and cultures.Candidate must be based in Dubai - Full time onsite role.Interested?Please apply with your CV in English.
