Finance Business Partner

About the Role

Our client, a global organization operating within the industrial technology and automation sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to oversee financial activities across its UAE and KSA entities.This is a senior finance role requiring strong commercial and operational finance experience, with particular exposure to a sales-driven business environment in the UAE. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, Sales, Service, Finance Shared Services and global stakeholders in a multinational organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.Prepare and present financial reports and business performance analysis.Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights.Controlling & ComplianceEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with applicable accounting standards and company policies.Partner with Finance Shared Services on accounting, reporting, AP, AR and master data processes.Monitor budgets, analyse variances and drive corrective actions.Maintain effective internal controls and support regulatory compliance.Business PartneringPartner with Sales and Service teams to provide financial insights for business decisions.Drive profitability improvement and cost optimization initiatives.Act as a financial advisor to senior management and commercial stakeholders.Support commercial and operational teams with financial analysis and performance management.Operational FinanceOversee credit and collections, payroll and cash management activities.Manage relationships with external auditors, banks and other financial partners.Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.Master's degree or relevant professional qualification is preferred.10+ years of overall finance experience.Strong experience within a sales, commercial or trading-based business environment.Previous UAE finance experience is essential, with a good understanding of local financial practices and regulations.Experience managing or supporting financial activities across UAE and/or KSA entities.Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and controlling.Experience working within a multinational / matrix organization.Proven ability to partner with senior management and commercial stakeholders.Experience supporting Sales, Service and other operational functions.Strong ERP and financial systems experience; SAP exposure is an advantage.Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.High level of integrity, ownership and attention to detail.
