The Finance Change Business Partner is responsible for:Delivering specific change initiatives across the Finance division, as assigned by the Finance Change Manager or Head of Finance Change and Transformation. The role encompasses the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and gap analysis through to testing, cutover and post-go-live support.Acting as the primary bridge between Finance stakeholders and the Technology team, translating complex business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation while ensuring that solutions align with operational requirements.Supporting DCME’s internally-developed and third-party Regulatory Reporting solutions.Principal Duties:Requirements gathering and analysis:Translating business stakeholder needs into detailed functional specifications user stories, and acceptance criteria.Conducting gap analysis between current-state and future-state processes.Mapping data flows, system interfaces, and dependencies across the Finance technology landscape.System Implementation and Delivery:Working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks to support end-to-end system implementation lifecycles.Supporting system selection/vendor evaluation processes.Collaborating with solution architects, developers and vendors to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.Defining and managing data mapping and migration requirements between legacy and target systemsSupporting integration and interface design (APIs, ETL processes, reconciliation logic.Testing & Quality Assurance:Defining SIT and UAT test scenarios and scripts.Coordinating UAT with Finance end-users.Managing defect triage, resolution tracking, and re-testing.Stakeholder Management & Communication:Acting as the primary liaison between Finance stakeholders and Technology developers.Facilitating workshops with stakeholders.Providing regular status updates to project managers.Transition & Post-Implementation Support:Develop training materials, user guides, and knowledge transfer documentation.Support cutover planning and post-go-live stabilisation.Regulatory Reporting Support:Delivering user support, maintenance and enhancements for in-house regulatory reporting systems including internally developed and external vendor packages.Additionally, the Finance Change Business Partner may need to contribute to the annual FCA wind-down plan and, where directed, execute specific BAU processes where SME knowledge is required.Your Skill & Experience:Finance Domain Knowledge-Familiarity and experience with a combination of the following:General Ledger and Sub-Ledger accounting solutions.VAT accounting and reporting obligations.Product Control / P&L reporting solutions.Financial consolidation and intercompany accounting solutions.FP&A reporting and automated allocations.Trade lifecycle, front to back flows and base understanding of financial products.Finance data models and chart of accounts structures.Regulatory reporting obligations.Systems and Technology-Familiarity and experience with a combination of the following:Implementing Finance platforms including ERP and product control solutions and reconciliation tools.Developing reports using BI / Reporting tools e.g. Power BI.Experience of implementing or using FP&A solutions e.g. Essbase, IBM Planning Analytics.Proficiency in MS Office suite, with advanced Excel and Access skills.Ability to develop MS Excel pivot tables, charts and dashboards.Implementation and / or support of regulatory reporting solutions.The following experience would be desirable:Experience of implementing or Oracle eBusiness Suite and IBM Planning Analytics.Understanding of using regulatory reporting solutions and familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements, including:FCA IFPR and associated MIF reportsEU IFR/IFD and associated IF reportsEBA COREP (MKR SA) templatesRisk Data Aggregation (RDA)General Skills-Process improvement mindset, using business analysis skills to drive process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate with limited supervision.Ability to analyse and present complex information clearly, both in written formats (e.g. Word and PowerPoint) and verbally.Confidence in engaging with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Ability to document processes and procedures clearly and professionally to support user training and handover.High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Financial Services.Qualifications:Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or international equivalent) is desirable but not essential.Strong grounding in project life cycle methodologies.
