Finance Controller

Role PurposeEnsure the accuracy, integrity and compliance of the Group's financial statements and reporting by overseeing financial controls, statutory reporting and audit processes.This is a senior technical oversight role within the Finance function. The post-holder is accountable for the technical accuracy and compliance of the Group's financial statements, working closely with the CFO and senior finance leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial reporting: Oversee the preparation of the Group's monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards, so that reporting is accurate and reliable.External audit: Lead the Group's external audit process by coordinating with external auditors and providing the required documentation, ensuring a smooth and timely audit completion.Internal controls: Design and monitor the Group's internal financial controls framework through regular control reviews, safeguarding assets and protecting the integrity of financial reporting.Statutory and regulatory reporting: Oversee statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements (including zakat and tax filings), coordinating with relevant advisors to ensure compliance with local regulations.Accounting judgments: Review and approve significant accounting judgments and estimates (such as provisions and impairments), applying technical accounting expertise to ensure appropriate and consistent treatment.Consolidation: Lead the consolidation of financial results across Group entities, overseeing intercompany eliminations and adjustments to produce accurate consolidated financial statements.Technical support: Support the CFO and the Finance Operations Manager on technical accounting matters and process improvements, providing expert guidance to strengthen overall financial reporting quality.Team development: Build a competent and efficient Financial Control function, with a special focus on developing Saudi national talent in line with applicable labour laws, by attracting suitable talent and growing the internal pipeline.Qualifications and Education* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.* CPA or an equivalent professional accounting certification.Experience* Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial accounting or controllership.* Minimum of 3 years in a controller or senior accounting role.Skills and Knowledge* Strong financial reporting and consolidation skills.* Strong IFRS and accounting standards expertise.* Strong internal controls and audit management skills.Key Competencies* Financial Reporting and Consolidation* Internal Controls* Technical Accounting Expertise* Audit Management* Communication* Flexibility* Teamwork* Safety and Security
