Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole DescriptionA Finance Director is responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, budgeting, accounting, and financial risk management. The role works closely with senior management, department heads, auditors, banks, and external advisors to support financial performance and long-term business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement financial strategies, policies, and business plans.Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury operations.Monitor financial performance, profitability, cash flow, and working capital.Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.Oversee accounting records, financial controls, and reporting processes.Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial resources.Identify financial risks and implement effective risk management and internal controls.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulations.Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, regulators, and external financial professionals.Monitor operating costs, capital expenditure, and financial efficiency.Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.Support business plans, investments, contracts, acquisitions, and expansion projects.Improve financial systems, processes, reporting tools, and automation.Lead, manage, and develop the finance and accounting team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, ACA, or equivalent is preferred.Extensive experience in finance, accounting, financial management, or a senior finance leadership role.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls.Experience managing finance teams, budgets, and complex financial operations.Strong understanding of IFRS, taxation, corporate finance, and financial regulations.Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.Strong analytical, strategic, and financial decision-making skills.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.Strong commercial awareness and ability to support business growth.High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.Knowledge of UAE tax, accounting, and business regulations is advantageous.Professional, reliable, results-oriented, and proactive approach.
