Finance Director

looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function and provide strategic financial leadership to the business.

Location: Dubai, UAE🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function, ensuring strong financial governance and controls.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and expenditure management.
• Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, and executive-level financial analysis.
• Monitor budgets, expenditure, cash flow, financial performance, and key KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Government financial policies, regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
• Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to senior management and leadership.
• Drive cost optimization, resource allocation, and financial efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee audits, treasury, taxation, financial controls, and risk management.
• Lead and develop the finance team while driving continuous process improvement.
• Support strategic projects, investment decisions, business planning, and organizational transformation.
• Drive finance digitalization and ERP/financial system improvements.🔹 Ideal Candidate12+ years of progressive finance experience.Mandatory experience within Dubai government or a Dubai government entity. Previous experience as a finance director, financial controller, head of finance, or similar senior role.Strong knowledge of government budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and governance.Excellent understanding of financial controls, expenditure management, and compliance.Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial mindset.Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and senior stakeholders.Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
