As the GCC business continues to develop, the company is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Director – GCC, based in Dubai, to provide financial leadership across the region.The RoleThe Finance Director will have overall responsibility for the financial management and performance of the GCC business, partnering closely with regional leadership while maintaining a strong connection with global finance. The role will provide leadership across financial reporting, FP&A, commercial finance, budgeting and forecasting, controls, governance, cash flow and business partnering. Beyond the core finance responsibilities, the Finance Director will be expected to operate as a senior commercial partner to the regional leadership team, providing insight and challenge around business performance, investment decisions, profitability and future growth. This is a high-profile regional finance leadership opportunity within a US-listed multinational, based in Dubai with responsibility across the GCC.The position offers a broad combination of finance leadership, commercial partnering, governance and regional strategy, and would suit an accomplished Finance Director looking for significant regional responsibility within a complex international organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the finance function across the GCC, providing financial and commercial leadership to the regional business.Own the regional budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in accordance with corporate and US-listed reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX and internal control requirements.Partner with GCC leadership on strategy, commercial decisions, investment and business performance.Provide detailed analysis of revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow and key operational KPIs.Drive improvements in working capital, financial processes and overall business efficiency.Work closely with global finance, treasury, tax, internal audit and external auditors.Maintain a robust financial control and governance environment across multiple GCC entities.Support business expansion, new market initiatives and strategic projects across the region.Lead, develop and mentor the regional finance team.Drive finance transformation, systems improvements and greater use of data and analytics.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will be an experienced senior finance leader with a combination of regional GCC knowledge, multinational experience and exposure to a listed-company environment.Candidates should demonstrate:Professional accounting qualification – ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.Significant experience in a Finance Director, Regional Finance Director or senior finance leadership position.Previous experience within a US-listed business, or significant exposure to US-listed reporting and governance requirements.Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and internal controls.Broad finance experience spanning FP&A, financial control, reporting and commercial finance.Experience managing finance across multiple countries, ideally within the GCC or wider Middle East.Excellent commercial judgement and the ability to influence senior business leaders.Experience working effectively within a matrixed multinational organisation.Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing finance teams.The credibility and communication skills to engage effectively with both regional and global senior stakeholders.
