Executive Search | Finance Director — PanamaWe are conducting a senior executive search on behalf of Acino – part of Arcera, a leading company in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, for a Finance Director to lead the financial agenda of its Panama operations, with regional responsibility across Central America and the Caribbean.📍 Panama City, PanamaThis is a high-impact leadership position for a finance executive who combines strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and hands-on leadership, with a strong understanding of the regulatory and business environments across the region.The successful candidate will partner closely with the General Manager, regional leadership, and key stakeholders to shape financial strategy, strengthen governance, optimize performance, and support critical business decisions across a diverse, multi-country, and highly regulated environment.Regional scope is a key component of the role. Strong knowledge of the financial, tax, compliance, and regulatory frameworks in Panama and other countries across Central America and the Caribbean is essential. Experience working across markets such as Costa Rica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, and other countries in the region will be highly valued.The mandate includes:

• Leading financial strategy, planning, FP&A, reporting, controllership, tax, compliance, and audit activities.
• Driving financial performance and translating business strategy into actionable financial plans across multiple markets.
• Acting as a trusted strategic partner to the business and senior leadership team.
• Ensuring compliance with local financial, tax, and regulatory requirements across the region.
• Strengthening governance, controls, compliance, and financial processes.
• Leading transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple countries.
• Managing relationships with auditors, strategic partners, joint ventures, and other external stakeholders.
• Building, developing, and leading high-performing finance teams.
• Navigating complex multi-market, cross-border, and regulated environments.We are particularly interested in executives who bring:
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including responsibility for multiple finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of Panamanian financial and regulatory requirements, combined with regional exposure.
• Experience managing finance across multiple countries in Central America and/or the Caribbean.
• A strong track record in financial strategy, performance management, and business partnering.
• Experience in regulated industries, ideally healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or similarly complex environments.
• Exposure to regional or multinational operations and cross-border structures.
• Strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
