In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of critical financial operations, driving accuracy, compliance, and strategic insights that directly impact our organization's success. As a Finance Executive, you'll combine your technical expertise with collaborative problem-solving to optimize financial processes, support informed decision-making, and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement across the finance function.Analyze financial transactions, statements, and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process optimization and cost efficiencyPrepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses that communicate progress, highlight adverse trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadershipManage accounts receivable and payable functions, including processing transactions, investigating collection issues, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve outstanding accountsDevelop and recommend operating policies, procedures, and best practices for the finance department to ensure compliance with established standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts in resolving financial problems and maintaining effective liaison between departmentsConduct credit policy reviews and make informed recommendations regarding credit decisions, write-offs, and allowances based on thorough analysisMonitor and ensure compliance with current financial practices, accounting standards, and organizational policies; stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry updatesPlan and schedule financial work to ensure proper distribution of assignments, adequate resource allocation, and timely completion of deliverablesUtilize accounting software and financial tools to maintain accurate records, process transactions efficiently, and generate timely reportsSupport budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis to help the organization achieve its financial goals and objectivesIdentify and assess financial risks, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assetsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or similar financial operations roleStrong proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standardsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, data analysis, and pivot tablesHands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar platforms)Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general ledger managementSolid understanding of credit policies, collection procedures, and financial compliance requirementsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial dataStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficientlyExceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear, concise financial reportsProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levelsDetail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance in all financial mattersProficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisPreferred: Knowledge of financial risk assessment and internal control frameworksPreferred: Certification such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CPA, or similar professional qualification
