Read on!Role Overview:We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our growing Finance team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our day-to-day finance operations run smoothly across multiple global entities.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operational accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate work. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to manage financial records, process payments, maintain compliance, and support month-end reporting. Success in this role requires strong ownership, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.What You'll Do:Financial OperationsLead the finance operations for the UAE entity while supporting the wider Group Finance function across global entities.Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure the integrity of financial data.Accounts Payable, Receivable & PayrollManage payment processing, employee claims, payroll support, and other finance-related transactions.Ensure all payments and reimbursements are processed accurately and within established timelines.Maintain appropriate documentation to support financial transactions.Compliance & GovernanceTake ownership of finance-related compliance matters for the UAE entity, ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are fulfilled accurately and on time.Monitor and manage compliance deadlines, including but not limited to Corporate Tax, VAT, work permits, employment documentation, licences, insurance, and other regulatory requirements.Maintain compliance trackers and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve potential compliance risks before deadlines are missed.Liaise with external consultants, government authorities, and internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters where required.Ensure finance processes comply with UAE regulations and internal company policies.Reporting & AnalysisPrepare recurring financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management.Assist in analysing financial information and identifying discrepancies or areas requiring follow-up.Support audits and other finance-related projects as required.Business PartnershipCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve finance-related queries and obtain supporting information.Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function.You're a Great Fit If You:Have 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.Possess strong accounting fundamentals and a good understanding of finance operations, with a willingness and ability to learn. Have exceptional attention to detail and consistently produce accurate work.Take ownership of your responsibilities and proactively follow through on commitments.Can work independently and exercise sound judgment when solving problems.Are organised, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across different functions.Are proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.Thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where accountability and ownership are highly valued.Bonus Points:Experience with UAE accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, or compliance requirements.Experience processing payroll and employee expense claims.Experience supporting statutory audits.Exposure to multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.Experience improving finance processes or implementing operational efficiencies.Experience working in a fully remote, globally distributed company.
