Finance Executive

About our ClientA diversified logistics and supply chain company operating across South Africa, specializing in transport, warehousing, fleet solutions, and cross-border logistics.About the RoleAn analytically strong, commercially minded finance executive to work closely with the Group CEO and senior leadership team. The best fit candidate will be comfortable working at the intersection of finance, operations, strategy, investments and project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed financial, operational and cash-flow models.Review financial performance, interrogate variances and identify the underlying operational and commercial drivers.Ownership of complex, time-intensive analytical and project workstreams.Financial analysis, consolidated management reporting, modelling and forecasting.Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections & long-term business plans.Develop scenario analyses to support strategic, operational and capital-allocation decisions.Support the senior team to identify, structure and executing strategic priorities.Investigate complex business problems and develop commercially sound recommendations.Assist with commercial negotiations and strategic partnerships.Assist with the development of business plans, operating models, financial structures.Build financial models to assess unit economics, capital requirements, funding needs, profitability and potential returns.Valuation models to evaluate prospective acquisitions, investments, new opportunities.Work with accountants, auditors, tax advisers, legal advisers as required.Support working-capital analysis, cash management, funding planning.Identify opportunities to use AI in financial analysis, reporting and project management.Key RequirementsCA(SA) or a similar accounting, finance or investment accreditation.5-10 years relevant professional experience.Strong foundation in accounting, financial-analysis and financial-modelling.Advanced Excel skills.Experience analysing management accounts, budgets & business performance.Experience in corporate finance, transaction services, private equity, investment banking, strategic finance, commercial finance or related environment.Understand detailed financial information within its wider operational context.Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills.Experience with AI, automation, data tools (advantageous).Thank you for your interest.
