In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive cost control strategies that drive operational efficiency and financial performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost reduction opportunities, analyze spending patterns, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines while maintaining organizational profitability.Develop and implement cost control policies, procedures, and frameworks across the organizationConduct detailed cost analysis and variance analysis to identify deviations from budgeted targetsMonitor and track operational expenses, capital expenditures, and overhead costs on an ongoing basisPrepare comprehensive cost reports and financial dashboards for senior management reviewIdentify and evaluate cost reduction opportunities through process improvement initiativesCollaborate with department heads and operational teams to establish realistic budgets and cost targetsAnalyze spending trends and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimizationEnsure compliance with financial controls, internal policies, and regulatory requirementsLead cost control projects and initiatives to achieve targeted savings and efficiency improvementsMaintain and update cost accounting records and financial documentationParticipate in budget planning cycles and provide cost forecasting analysisCommunicate cost control findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reportsQualificationsGraduate from Finance Domain.Proven experience in cost accounting, cost control, or financial analysis (minimum 5+ years)Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysisAdvanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis methodologiesExpertise in cost reduction initiatives and process optimizationProficiency with ERP systems and financial management softwareAdvanced Excel skills with ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial modelsKnowledge of cost accounting principles and practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skill setExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesProject management experience with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsPreferred: Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization softwarePreferred: Familiarity with lean or Six Sigma cost optimization methodologiesPreferred: Background in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain cost managementAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
