Its debut Skin Longevity System 5 supports five biological pathways of skin renewal through a 75-day protocol, backed by independent testing. Role DescriptionWe are hiring for the role of Finance Generalist (Founder's office) in a full-time, on-site leadership position based in Mumbai. This role will be part of the founding operating team and will be among the first 5 hires in the company. In this role, you will take ownership of the company’s day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance and provide strategic insights to support business decisions. You will play a critical role in building financial infrastructure, implementing processes and helping the company scale efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesAccountingEnsure accurate and timely accounting for the company, including periodic book closing and preparation of financial statementsCoordinate with auditors for seamless and timely completion of statutory and internal auditsOversee all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and tax complianceCompliance & TaxDevelop effective tax strategies to optimize tax implicationsEnsure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, along with other statutory requirementsManage interactions with government agencies for availing entitlements and subsidiesFinancial Planning and ReportingLead the development of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecastingDeliver detailed financial reports and analysis, including segmental P&L statementsTreasury & Risk ManagementManage working capital and cash flow to optimize utilization and minimize costsCoordinate with financial institutions for fund-based and non-fund-based limitsImplement strategies for managing and hedging investment, business, and financial risksCosting & ControlEstablish and maintain robust processes and internal controls to prevent loss or leakagesEnsure accurate product costing and pricing for the companyCorporate GovernanceManage external stakeholder relationships, establishing transparent communication frameworks.Engage with investors to maintain their trust in management decisions.Support Leadership in keeping the Board engaged and informed on critical corporate actions.Candidate Profile – MUST HAVEChartered Accountant with 1-3 years of post-qualification experienceAtleast 1 year of experience in startups in beauty, personal care, health and wellness categoryAlready located in Mumbai/ Thane/ Navi MumbaiStartup mindset and proactiveness to solve problems to grow business Candidate Profile (Skills)Strong knowledge of accounting systems, consolidation, and inter-company processesExcellent understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and tax regulationsProficient in ERP systemsStrong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detailExcellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with external agenciesDetail-oriented with a hands-on approach to financial managementCompensation & Benefits10-15 lac annual fixed salary with performance linked incentives and equity linked payouts Location: Mumbai, India (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time
