The Finance intern will support the finance team in day-to-day financial activities, reporting, and analysis. The role provides hands-on exposure to financial planning, reporting, and compliance processes while developing foundational finance skillsRoles, Responsibilities, Duties;Financial Planning and AnalysisAssist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and basic financial reports.Support variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets.Help compile financial data and reports for internal review.Perform basic financial modeling and data analysis under supervision.Financial Reporting and ComplianceAssist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.Support documentation and filing for audits and compliance purposes.Help ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.Assist with maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures.Operational Finance SupportSupport tracking cash inflows and outflows.Assist in updating cash flow schedules and simple forecasts.Help maintain records related to invoices, payments, and receivables.Corporate Finance & Investment ExposureSupport financial analysis, research, and reporting activities across corporate and operational finance.Assist in preparing presentations, financial summaries, and management reports.Support research, due diligence, and business performance analysis activities.Gain exposure to strategic finance, portfolio reporting, and investment-related processes.Team Collaboration and LearningWork closely with senior finance team members on assigned tasks.Participate in team meetings and learn about financial decision-making.Take part in training and development activities to build finance competencies.Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related fieldProfessional certifications (e.g., CFA Level I) are an advantage but not required.Experience:Experience; 0–1 year of internship or entry-level experience in finance, investment, or related roles.Fresh graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.Competencies;Financial Basics: Understanding accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.Analytical Skills: Ability to work with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial data.Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel and financial tools; willingness to learnERP systems.Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentationCommunication: Clear written and verbal communication skills.Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment.Learning Agility: Strong willingness to learn and develop finance and business skills.Ethics & Compliance: Basic awareness of confidentiality and compliance requirements
