On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with reviewing and organizing financial data, helping prepare and analyze financial statements, and supporting basic accounting tasks such as reconciliations and expense tracking. The intern will collaborate with the finance team to generate reports, contribute to budgeting and forecasting exercises, and help ensure data accuracy across financial records. The role also involves communicating findings and insights clearly to team members and participating in virtual meetings to discuss financial performance and process improvements.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret quantitative data.Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and familiarity with Financial Statements.Candidates should possess basic Accounting skills, including understanding of ledger entries and reconciliations.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaboration and reporting.Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and strong organizational abilities.Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Excel or similar applications).Current enrollment in a Finance, Accounting, Business, or related degree program is preferred.Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
