We partner with schools, local governments, and CSR wings of corporates to drive sustainable change.Learn more: www.cherysh.orgAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Finance Intern to support our day-to-day finance and accounting operations.This role is suitable for a student or fresher who is interested in gaining practical experience in bookkeeping, expense management, financial documentation, reconciliations, reporting, and NGO compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily accounting and expense recordsTrack reimbursements and other expensesAssist with invoice and bill processingSupport bank, cash, and expense reconciliationsMaintain financial trackers and cash-flow spreadsheetsAssist in preparing financial reports and MISOrganize financial documents for audits and complianceSupport documentation and coordination for statutory and compliance requirements, as applicableCoordinate with internal teams and vendors for finance-related informationSupport other day-to-day finance and administrative activitiesQualifications & SkillsB.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) student or fresherBasic understanding of accounting principlesGood working knowledge of Excel / Google SheetsKnowledge of Tally or Zoho Books is an advantageGood attention to detail and documentation skillsStrong organizational and follow-up skillsGood communication and coordination skillsAbility to handle confidential financial information responsiblyWhat You Will GainHands-on experience in finance and accounting operationsExposure to bookkeeping, expense tracking, and financial reportingPractical understanding of NGO finance and complianceExperience working with financial documentation and internal processesInternship certificateGrowth OpportunityBased on performance during the internship and organizational requirements, this internship may be converted into a full-time position with CherYsh Trust.
