Finance InternRole Overview- As a Finance Intern at CarbonCraft, you will work closely with the finance team on day-to-day financialoperations, documentation, banking coordination, and accounting activities.- You will support the team in maintaining accurate financial records, organizing documentation,coordinating with banks and internal teams, and ensuring that financial processes are completed ontime.- The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and comfortable handlingboth desk-based and on-ground finance-related tasks.- You will gain hands-on exposure to core finance operations within a fast-growing climate-tech andmaterial innovation startup, while learning how financial processes support business operations andgrowth.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Documentation- Organize and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and financial documents.- Verify documents for accuracy, completeness, and approvals.- Support documentation for audits, compliance, and internal reporting. Banking & Financial Operations- Assist with day-to-day banking activities and documentation.- Visit banks when required for submissions and other financial processes.- Follow up with banks and stakeholders on pending transactions and requests.Accounting Support- Assist with basic ledger entries and accounting activities.- Support data entry for invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts.- Assist with basic reconciliation and preparation of financial reports.Finance InternAccounting| Banking| CoordinationInternal Coordination & Support-Coordinate with internal teams to collect invoices, bills, and expense details.- Coordinate with vendors, banks, and external stakeholders on finance-related requirements.- Track finance-related tasks and ensure timely closure.- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality while handling financial information.QualificationsMandatory- Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.- Fresher’s and recent graduates are welcome to apply.- Basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts.- Basic knowledge of Tally is plus.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy while handling financial data and documentation.- Good organizational and time-management skills.- Comfortable handling on-ground banking and administrative activities when required.- Good written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work independently, follows up on tasks, and takes ownership of assigned responsibilities. Preferred-Internship or prior exposure to finance, accounting, banking, or administration.- Familiarity with MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic financial reporting.- Basic understanding of invoices, vouchers, ledgers, bank transactions, and reconciliations.- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.- Willingness to learn and take responsibility across different areas of finance operations.What You'll Learn- Hands-on exposure to corporate finance, accounting, and banking operations.- Practical experience in handling invoices, vouchers, financial documentation, and accounting records.- Understanding of how finance functions support the day-to-day operations of a growing startup.- Exposure to banking coordination, vendor management, payments, reconciliations, and financial processes.- Experience working with finance-related tools such as ERP, Excel, and other business systems.- Understanding of financial documentation and processes required for audits, compliance, and reporting.-First-hand experience of working with internal teams, banks, vendors, and external stakeholders.-The opportunity to understand how the finance function operates within a fast-growing climate-techand material innovation company.
