Finance Intern

We’re hiring a Finance Intern to join Ando’s growing team in Nairobi.Ando is a fast-growing African food-tech company building the infrastructure behind modern food delivery and quick commerce. We operate and scale multiple food brands and locations, combining technology, operations, logistics and data to deliver a better customer experience.As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Finance Intern who wants hands-on exposure to the finance operations of a fast-moving, multi-brand business.What you'll work on:Daily sales reconciliations across platforms, brands and branchesM-Pesa, card, cash and bank reconciliationsSupplier invoice processing and accounts payable supportInvestigating variances, missing payments, refunds and discrepanciesSupporting month-end close, stock takes and food-cost reportingMaintaining accurate and organised financial recordsPreparing reports and supporting the wider Finance teamThe role is very operational and hands-on, with exposure to the full flow of transactions across Ando’s brands and locations. Who we're looking for:Bachelor’s degree completed or in final year — Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fieldCPA Part I+ or currently pursuing CPA(K) / ACCA preferredStrong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUPExcellent attention to detail and comfort working with numbersOrganised, proactive and willing to follow up when something doesn’t reconcileExposure to accounting systems, M-Pesa reconciliations or Kenyan tax is a plus
