This role is suitable for a fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of experience who has basic knowledge of Tally Prime, accounting principles, GST, TDS and MS Excel.The selected candidate will work closely with the Accounts & Finance team and gain practical exposure to day-to-day accounting operations, documentation, reconciliations and statutory compliance activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in day-to-day accounting and finance operations. Make and maintain accounting entries in Tally Prime / Tally ERP. Assist with sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries. Record and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents. Assist in maintaining Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records. Support the team in bank reconciliation and checking bank transactions. Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation. Support basic TDS-related entries, records and documentation. Assist in vendor and customer ledger reconciliation. Check invoices and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. Assist in preparing basic MIS and finance reports using MS Excel. Support the Accounts team during month-end closing activities. Assist in tracking outstanding payments and receivables. Coordinate with internal departments for invoices, approvals and financial documents. Assist senior team members with audit-related documentation and data preparation. Ensure accounting records are updated accurately and on time. Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by the reporting manager. Required SkillsBasic working knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP. Understanding of basic accounting concepts. Basic knowledge of GST and TDS. Good knowledge of MS Excel. Understanding of debit/credit, journal entries, ledgers and vouchers. Good numerical and analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced FMCG/manufacturing environment. Educational QualificationB.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA Finance or relevant qualification. Freshers with relevant academic knowledge and Tally training can apply. Preferred CandidateCandidates who have completed a Tally Prime course/certification will be preferred. Candidates with internship or practical exposure in Accounts/Finance will be an added advantage. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site at Bhopal Head Office.
