Finance Lead

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, and detail-oriented Finance Lead to manage and oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations for our India entity. The ideal candidate will take ownership of accounting, financial reporting, treasury, payroll, compliance, reconciliations, process improvements, and business analysis.This role offers a unique growth opportunity. While the initial focus is on leading India finance operations, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand responsibilities to support global finance operations across multiple geographies based on demonstrated performance, leadership capability, and business requirements.Key Responsibilities Financial Close & AccountingLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesMaintain GL integrity and ensure accurate financial statementsOwn balance sheet reconciliations and coordinate auditsPayroll & ComplianceManage end-to-end payroll processing and accuracyEnsure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF, Gratuity)Handle F&F settlements and payroll accountingTreasury & Cash FlowMonitor cash positions and prepare weekly forecastsManage working capital and liquidity planningReporting & AnalysisBuild management reports and KPI dashboards for leadershipDrive variance, trend, and profitability analysisSupport budgeting and forecasting cyclesAR/AP ManagementOwn collections, invoicing, and DSO improvementManage vendor payments and strengthen AP controlsTax & RegulatoryEnsure GST, TDS, and Income Tax complianceManage statutory/tax audits and regulatory filingsProcess ImprovementLeverage AI and automation to streamline finance workflowsDrive finance transformation initiativesWhat You BringBachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (CA/CPA/CMA/MBA-Finance a plus)8–12+ years of progressive finance & accounting experienceStrong hands-on expertise across AR, AP, Treasury, Payroll & ReportingSolid grip on GST, TDS, Income Tax & statutory complianceAdvanced Excel; QuickBooks experience preferredBonus: Power BI, ERP exposure, AI-driven process automation experience
