Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager to join a growing business in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role will take ownership of accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, corporate tax compliance, and audit activities across multiple entities, while managing a small finance team of five people. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening finance operations and supporting the continued growth of the Abu Dhabi office. Description * Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple entities. * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS. * Manage multi-entity consolidation processes, including elimination entries and intercompany reconciliations. * Ensure month-end and year-end close activities are completed accurately and on time. * Maintain the general ledger and oversee day-to-day accounting operations. * Prepare and review journals, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations. * Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions across group entities. * Support cash flow management and working capital activities. * Lead UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including calculations, filings, supporting schedules, and documentation. * Ensure ongoing compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements. * Coordinate external audits and act as the key contact for auditors. * Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for annual audits. * Liaise with external advisors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders. * Drive improvements in finance processes, controls, and reporting accuracy. * Develop and maintain robust accounting policies and internal controls. * Deliver insightful management reporting and financial analysis to leadership. * Mentor, coach, and manage a small finance team of five employees. * Support the finance function through a period of growth and operational expansion. Job Offer * Opportunity to join a growing Abu Dhabi operation. * Broad remit covering accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance. * Chance to lead and develop a small finance team. * Regional and multi-entity exposure in a dynamic business environment. * Opportunity to drive process improvements and influence business growth * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred. * Must be currently based in the UAE. * Proven local UAE finance and accounting experience is essential. * Hands-on experience preparing and maintaining general ledgers. * Strong background in preparing financial statements under IFRS. * Demonstrated experience with multi-entity consolidations and group reporting. * Hands-on UAE Corporate Tax experience, including calculations and filings. * Experience managing external audits and working directly with auditors. * Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail. * Ability to operate independently and take ownership of the finance function. * Previous team management experience is advantageous
