Finance Manager ( Banking & Financial Services )

To lead and manage the overall Finance & Accounting function of PayMe Solution by ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting and planning, strong cash and treasury management, proper financial control, and efficient financial operations for fintech and business projects.The Finance Manager is responsible for providing reliable financial information and strategic financial advice to management to support business growth, profitability, liquidity, and sound financial decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & AccountingOversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Review and approve accounting entries, journals, payments, receipts, and reconciliations. Ensure proper maintenance of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure proper accounting treatment in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, tax advisors, and relevant authorities. Establish and maintain effective financial controls to minimize financial risks and errors. Budget & PlanningLead the annual budgeting and financial planning process. Prepare departmental and company-wide budgets in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Develop financial forecasts, cash-flow projections, and business performance analyses. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis. Support management in financial modelling and business planning. Provide financial insights for strategic decisions, investments, and business expansion.Cash & Treasury ManagementManage the company's overall cash position and liquidity. Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows. Prepare and maintain cash-flow forecasts. Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational and business requirements. Oversee bank accounts, bank reconciliations, transfers, and payment arrangements. Monitor banking relationships and coordinate with financial institutions. Establish appropriate controls over cash, bank transactions, and payment authorization. Minimize liquidity and cash-management risks.Project & Tender Financial ManagementReview the financial aspects of business projects, tenders, and proposals. Prepare and review project budgets, cost estimates, pricing models, and financial projections. Evaluate project profitability, financial feasibility, and expected return. Review tender pricing and financial assumptions before submission. Coordinate with Business, Commercial, Operations, and relevant departments on tender requirements. Monitor project financial performance against approved budgets. Track project costs, revenue, margins, and financial commitments. Provide financial recommendations to management for project and tender decisions.Fintech Financial OperationsOversee financial operations related to PayMe's fintech products, platforms, and services. Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of fintech transactions. Monitor transaction settlements, collections, disbursements, fees, commissions, and related financial flows. Coordinate reconciliation between fintech platforms, bank accounts, payment channels, and accounting records. Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies and settlement issues. Establish appropriate financial controls for digital/payment transactions. Monitor transaction-related revenue, expenses, and operational costs. Work closely with Technology, Operations, Business, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Support the development and implementation of financial processes for new fintech products and services.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory position. Experience in Fintech, Payment Services, Banking, Microfinance, or Financial Services is strongly preferred. Experience in transaction reconciliation, settlement, payment operations, or digital financial services is an advantage.
