Finance Manager - Benelux & Nordics

EMEA Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing international software organization in its search for a Finance Manager to join its expanding finance team in Amsterdam.As the business continues to grow through acquisition across Europe, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and developing the finance function in the Netherlands, for Benelux and The Nordics.Working closely with international finance leadership, you will oversee financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting and process improvement, while supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the wider group.This position is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to make a genuine impact within a growing international business.This is a hybrid position based in Amsterdam.Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:Lead the finance function initially across Benelux, with scope expanding to the Nordic region as the organisation growsLead the month-end close process for a portfolio of operating companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Dutch GAAPSupport the integration of newly acquired businesses, including onboarding companies onto NetSuite, preparing completion accounts and aligning finance processesReview balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition and key financial controls, and track earn-outs, deferred consideration and related payment datesPartner with operational and finance stakeholders to prepare budgets, forecasts and management reporting, analysing financial performance and KPIs to support commercial decision-makingProvide financial challenge and support to CEOs and operating leaders across the portfolioDevelop and improve finance processes and Standard Operating Procedures to increase efficiency and consistency, and ensure audit readiness across internal and external requirementsWork closely with international finance teams on finance transformation initiatives, mentoring finance team members where required to maintain a high-performing functionExperience required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineRA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent accounting qualification5+ years' experience within Financial Management, Accounting or a similar commercial finance roleStrong exposure to finance in Benelux & The NordicsStrong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and statutory reporting requirementsExperience preparing budgets, forecasts and management reportingPrevious experience working within an international or multi-entity organization would be advantageousExperience supporting acquisitions or post-merger integrations would be beneficialNetSuite experience is advantageous but not essentialStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability to build relationships across international teamsProactive, organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a growing businessEMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
