Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe OpportunityWe are seeking a proactive and hands on Finance Manager to support the establishment and day to day financial operations of the UAE business. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance locally while assisting with the setup of financial processes, banking relationships, regulatory compliance, and reporting.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a growing entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial OperationsManage all day-to-day accounting activities for the UAE entity.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.Manage supplier payments and customer invoicing.Perform bank reconciliations and cash management.Monitor working capital and cash flow.Financial ReportingPrepare monthly management accounts.Produce balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting.Support budgeting and forecasting activities.Prepare financial reports for the Finance Director and group finance team.Ensure accurate maintenance of the general ledger.Company Setup & ComplianceAssist with the establishment of the UAE finance function.Coordinate the setup of corporate banking facilities.Support implementation of accounting systems and financial controls.Liaise with external auditors, banks and professional advisors.Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.Maintain statutory records and support regulatory filings.Business SupportDevelop and improve finance policies and procedures.Support payroll coordination with external providers.Assist with procurement and vendor onboarding.Provide financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.Work closely with operational teams across the business.Support ad hoc projects as the business continues to grow.Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA preferred.5+ years' experience in finance or accounting.Previous experience working in the UAE.Strong knowledge of IFRS.Experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.Experience setting up finance processes or supporting a new business/entity would be highly advantageous.Advanced Excel skills.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or similar.Excellent communication skills in English.
