Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our software company. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong financial management skills, experience in the technology or software industry, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the company's day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and treasury activitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reportsDevelop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plansMonitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stabilityAnalyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to managementEnsure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory reporting requirementsCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authoritiesEstablish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policiesSupport pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and financial modeling for software products and servicesMonitor project profitability, revenue recognition, and cost allocation for software development projectsPartner with department heads to support budgeting and financial decision-makingIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement automation where appropriateLead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvementPrepare ad hoc financial reports and business analyses as requested by senior managementRequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldMaster's degree or MBA is a plusProfessional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA is preferredExperience7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accountingAt least 3 years in a managerial or leadership roleExperience in a software, SaaS, or technology company is highly preferredExperience with ERP systems and financial management softwareTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reportingSolid understanding of IFRS or GAAP accounting standardsExperience with revenue recognition principles, particularly for software or SaaS businessesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Odoo, or similar)Knowledge of financial analysis, cash flow management, taxation, and internal controlsFamiliarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI is an advantageSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent leadership and people management skillsHigh level of integrity and attention to detailExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to influence business decisions through financial insights
