Team members collaborate closely across disciplines, creating an environment that values precision, accountability, and long-term client relationships.Job Description1.        Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the firm, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.2.        Oversee the complete billing, accounts receivable, collections and debt recovery process, including monitoring unbilled Work in Progress (WIP).3.        Manage client and trust accounts, including reconciliations, client funds, disbursements and statements of account.4.        Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cash-flow forecasts, income statements and financial performance reports for senior management meetings.5.        Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, general ledgers and preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.6.        Prepare and maintain commission statements and summaries for internal fee earners.7.        Manage accounts payable, supplier payments, client-related disbursements and petty cash.8.        Manage and process monthly WPS payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable UAE requirements.9.        Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax returns, ensuring full compliance with UAE tax legislation and filing deadlines.10.  Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax advisers and other professional advisers as required.Requirements1.        Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; ACCA, CPA professional qualification is preferred.2.        Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role.3.        Previous experience within the legal industry is preferred. Experience in law firm accounting, client/trust accounting, legal billing and disbursement management will be highly advantageous.4.        Knowledge and experience in using PCLaw accounting software. Sound understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and other applicable financial and regulatory requirements.
