Finance Manager

Job DescriptionThe Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations across all subsidiaries. This role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory and IFRS standards, and provides strategic financial insights to support business growth, performance optimisation, and decision-making.Key Responsibilities• Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting and financial operations across all subsidiaries.• Ensure timely preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly management reports with clear variance analysis and actionable insights.• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual budgets and rolling forecasts.• Monitor financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide strategic recommendations.• Oversee CAPEX planning and monitor actual spend against budgets.• Manage cash flow planning, forecasting, and working capital to optimize liquidity and operational efficiency.• Oversee payment cycles, banking activities, and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.• Lead group consolidation processes and analyst actual vs. budget performance across subsidiaries.• Review and enhance financial processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.• Support corporate transactions such as acquisitions, restructuring, and disposals, including conducting financial due diligence for new investments, and preparing or reviewing completion accounts and write-off assessments where applicable.• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage statutory audits.• Structure capital allocation, dividend distribution, and investment liquidity management.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial guidance to support business decisions.• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by management.• Support strategic planning and provide insights to senior management on business performance.Key Requirements• Minimum and preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.• Total Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a managerial role.• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and IFRS.Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.• Other qualifications (if any): Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.• Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Fluent in English and Myanmar.• Adaptable and able to respond effectively to changing business needs.
