We combine software with a pan-India execution network of lawyers, valuers, and field teams.The RoleYou will be our first dedicated finance hire, owning the finance function end-to-end — accounting, compliance, vendor payouts, receivables, and MIS — reporting directly to the Founder (a CA himself). This is a full-stack finance role: you'll do the work hands-on today and build the systems and team as we scale.ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Book-keepingOwn books of accounts end-to-end (Tally/Zoho Books): journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, month-end closeManage revenue recognition across SaaS subscriptions and per-transaction execution servicesPrepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsAccounts Receivable & BillingRaise client invoices per contract terms (subscription + usage-based billing); track collections and follow up on outstanding receivablesReconcile client accounts, handle TDS credits, and maintain AR ageing reportsVendor Payouts & PayablesProcess payouts to empanelled lawyers, valuers, printing/dispatch vendors, and service providers — verify invoices against milestones, apply correct TDS, execute paymentsMaintain vendor ledgers, reconciliations, and payout trackers across high monthly volumesCompliance & TaxationGST: monthly returns (GSTR-1, 3B), reconciliations (2B vs books), annual returnsTDS: deduction, monthly deposit, quarterly returns (24Q/26Q), Form 16/16A issuanceROC/MCA filings, coordination with company secretary and statutory auditorsHandle departmental notices and assessments with founder supportPayroll & BankingRun monthly payroll with PF/PT/TDS complianceManage banking operations, cash flow planning, and burn trackingMIS & Investor ReportingBuild and maintain monthly MIS: revenue, collections, burn, runway, unit economicsSupport fundraising with financial data, projections, and due diligence readinessWhat we're looking forQualified CA (fresher or up to 1–2 years post-qualification); strong articleship exposure to accounting, GST, TDS, and auditHands-on with Tally/Zoho Books and strong Excel skillsHigh ownership — comfortable being the only finance person and figuring things out independentlyDetail-oriented, deadline-driven, and unafraid of high transaction volumesStartup or SME client exposure during articleship is a plusWhy joinRare opportunity to own an entire finance function from day one — not one desk in a big teamWork directly with a CA founder (AIR 2) — steep learning across finance, fundraising, and businessFront-row exposure to venture fundraising, investor reporting, and scaling a company's finance systemsClear path to Finance Controller / Head of Finance as we grow
