Finance Manager

About the RoleOraya Developers is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant / Finance Manager to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities while ensuring the company remains compliant with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements in the Real Estate Industry. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing financial matters independently.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities, including invoices, expenses, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.Prepare and review monthly financial reports, cash-flow updates, receivables, payables, and other management reports.Handle UAE VAT compliance, including VAT calculations, return preparation, filing, and maintaining relevant records.Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including calculations, return preparation, filing, and supporting documentation.Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions and payments to the relevant authorities.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial planning.Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial service providers when required.Assist with audit preparation and provide required schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding balances.Assist management with day-to-day financial queries and provide clear financial insights when required.Ensure proper filing and organisation of accounting, tax, and financial records.Support the company with other finance and accounting matters as required.RequirementsMinimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience in Real Estate IndustryStrong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and filing requirements.Solid understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.Experience handling accounting and tax matters for a UAE-based company is essential.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, and confidentiality.Ability to work independently and take ownership of finance and tax responsibilities.Strong Excel / Microsoft Office skills; experience with accounting software is preferred.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Relevant degree or professional accounting qualification is preferred.Position DetailsCompany: Oraya DevelopersPosition: Accountant / Finance & Tax ExecutiveLocation: Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab EmiratesEmployment Type: Full-timeInterested Candidates can email at chirag@oraya.ae
