🚀 Finance Manager - Malta | StartupI’m working with an exciting, growing startup in Malta that is looking for a Finance Manager to join the business at an important stage of its growth.This is a hands-on opportunity. The finance function is currently outsourced, and the successful candidate will take ownership of bringing the majority of the finance operations in-house.Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll have real visibility and influence across the business, with the opportunity to build processes, improve reporting and establish the finance function as the company grows.The role:Own the day-to-day finance and accounting functionManage reconciliations, AP/AR, cash flow, payroll and expensesPrepare management accounts and financial reportingSupport budgeting, forecasting and financial planningManage relationships with external accountants, advisers and payment providersEnsure compliance across relevant tax and regulatory requirementsHelp establish and develop finance processes and controlsSupport the business with the setup of its first office and wider operational requirementsWe're looking for someone who is:Extremely diligent and detail-orientedHands-on and happy to get into the detailComfortable working with minimal supervisionAble to take ownership and build processes from scratchTechnically strong with broad accounting/finance experienceAmbitious and able to demonstrate clear potentialComfortable working in a fast-paced startup environmentIf you're a hands-on finance professional looking for the opportunity to own and build a finance function from the ground up, I'd be keen to hear from you.
