The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, timely month-end and year-end closing, compliance, and strong financial controls.The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, optimize costs, improve profitability, support strategic decision-making, and drive continuous process improvements. The role will also lead, develop, and manage the finance team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is an advantage.Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, and tax compliance.Proven experience in leading and developing a finance team.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-finance teams.Experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer-focused businesses is highly preferred.Experience working in a multi-brand or multi-location business environment is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial performance.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant financial regulations.Coordinate and support internal and external audits.Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profitability.Lead, supervise, and develop finance team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and strategic initiatives.Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and financial transparency
