Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance ManagerLocation: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 27,000 – 30,000 per monthReporting To: Finance Director OverviewA leading international design studio with a strong presence in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to join its Dubai office. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for overseeing financial management, operational performance, and business reporting across the regional business.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & ReportingPrepare and manage monthly management accounts and financial reports.Produce accurate statistics, forecasts, and performance reporting for senior management.Support budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.Ensure financial compliance with internal and external standards.Liaise closely with the London Finance Director on reporting and controls.Payroll & Team ManagementOversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Manage and develop a team of four finance/operations professionals.Implement best practice systems and procedures across the team.Operations ManagementOversee day-to-day operational functions of the Dubai office.Support business efficiency across departments including design, project delivery, and administration.Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and operational costs.Contribute to process improvement and business optimisation initiatives.Business Support & StrategyProvide commercial insight and data-driven recommendations to leadership.Support senior management with financial and operational decision-making.Assist with regional and group-wide initiatives as required.Candidate ProfileProven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Finance & Operations Manager role.Strong background in management accounting and reporting.Experience managing payroll and leading small teams.Previous experience in a design, architecture, construction, or professional services environment is preferred.Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.Comfortable working with international stakeholders.Experience in the Middle East is advantageous but not essential.
