قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob Responsibilities:Financial Management & ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE regulations, while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards where applicable.Develop accurate reporting systems enabling sound analysis, forecasting, and executive decision-making.Monitor overall company financial performance, margins, and profitability by discipline.Provide project-level cost analysis, variance reports, and consolidated performance dashboards for management.Present clear, actionable reports to senior management, focusing on project profitability, utilization rates, budget adherence, and cash flow performance.Comply with national and local financial regulations by studying existing and proposed legislation.Budgeting & ForecastingLead annual budgeting process and long-term financial forecasting, aligned with company strategy and project pipeline, applying appropriate budgeting methods (top-down, bottom-up, participative) depending on project and corporate needs.Work closely with Project Managers, HR, and discipline heads to align budgets with real project milestones, manpower plans, and design deliverables.Integrate project delays, variations, and scope changes into rolling forecasts to maintain financial accuracy.Balance short-term cash requirements with long-term investment priorities (growth, technology adoption, reserves).Provide project-level cost forecasts including staffing, subcontractors, overhead allocations, and risk contingencies.Support HR in building manpower budgets (hiring plans, salary provisions, end-of-service accruals) and ensure these are integrated into company forecasts.Align budgets with real project milestones and manpower plans, integrating project delays, scope changes, and productivity factors (learning curves) into rolling forecasts.Project & Contracting AccountingMaintain accurate accounting for project revenues, costs, WIP, and profitability across design and supervision contracts.Track progress billing, retention, variations, and claims, ensuring alignment with FIDIC/contract terms.Implement project cost center accounting, linking time, expenses, and invoicing to specific projects/disciplines.Ensure project reporting enables accurate comparisons between budgeted vs. actual costs, highlighting deviations early.Collaborate with Tendering/Technical and HR departments to assess commercial viability, pricing strategies, and resource allocation needs for bids.Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementManage cash flows across projects and corporate operations, ensuring liquidity, solvency, and optimal working capital ratios.Oversee collections, follow up on delayed payments, and negotiate payment plans with clients/contractors.Manage supplier payments, payroll, insurance, and tax settlements in coordination with HR and Procurement.Optimize funding structures and banking facilities (LCs, guarantees, overdrafts) to support large-scale projects.Compliance, Audit & Risk ControlEnsure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, labor laws, and other financial regulations.Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to minimize risks and ensure accuracy.Lead external audit process, liaise with auditors, and manage timely closure of statutory requirements.Maintain documentation and processes in compliance with Estidama, DOH, and government project requirements where applicable.Evaluate financial risks related to contracts, project delays, and cost overruns, proposing mitigation strategies.Strategic Financial Planning & AdvisoryProvide financial input into strategic business plans, mergers, partnerships, and investments.Conduct NPV, IRR, WACC, and capital budgeting analysis for project evaluations and corporate investments.Advise senior management on debt vs. equity financing options for expansion or project funding.Support value engineering workshops by quantifying financial impacts of design decisions.Develop cost-benefit analyses to guide resource planning, staffing strategies, and technology adoption.Conduct cost-benefit analyses, absorption costing, and scenario modelling for project evaluations and corporate decisions.Advise senior management on financing strategies, investment evaluations, and resource allocation; provide financial data that directly informs executive decision-makingTeam Leadership & HR/Resource CoordinationOversee finance/accounts team accounting records, ensuring accurate and timely accounting across functions between journal entries, reconciliations, and start-up processes for new projects/contracts.Collaborate with HR on resource planning, manpower budgeting, and cost allocation for project staffing.Support HR in financial aspects of workforce planning (salary structures, benefits costings, leave provisions, end-of-service accruals), ensuring compliance with UAE labor law.Provide input on financial implications of recruitment, training, and performance management initiatives.Define KPIs for finance staff (timeliness, accuracy, AR collections, audit compliance).Train staff on UAE regulations, taxation, and compliance updates.Foster cross-departmental collaboration (Technical, Tendering, HR, PMO) for seamless financial integration.Manage a team that develops financial and valuation models, materials, and recommendations for executive decision-making by conducting comprehensive analyses and utilizing appropriate methods.Stakeholder & Client InterfaceManage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.Liaise with clients on invoicing, payment terms, variations, and contract financial clauses.Mediate between internal teams, management, and external stakeholders to resolve financial disputes amicably.Represent Finance in high-level meetings with investors, shareholders, and government authorities when required.Required qualifications and years of experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or equivalent.Minimum experience of 12 years, of which 5 years hold a leadership position.Minimum experience of 5 years working in construction / consulting company.Specific technical skills or certifications:Hold an accredited certificate in accounting, such as CMA, CIMA, CPA, and ACCA, is required.Experienced in Tax filing, VAT, and Corporate tax.Intensive knowledge of UAE labor law.Adept knowledge of different accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle.Strong problem-solving and negotiating skillsPersonal integrity and an ability to maintain the confidentiality of company and client information.Strong Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
