Team members join a dynamic retail environment with opportunities to contribute to operational and financial excellence.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Yangon. The Finance Manager oversees day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support retail store performance. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring key financial metrics, and ensuring accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations. The role manages financial controls, supports internal and external audits, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. The Finance Manager collaborates with operations and merchandising teams on cost analysis, pricing, and margin optimization, while providing clear financial reports and insights to senior management for decision-making. The position also involves leading and mentoring the finance team, improving processes, and supporting the implementation of financial systems and tools.Qualifications Strong financial management and accounting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and general ledger management.Experience with financial analysis, cost control, margin analysis, and cash flow management in a retail or fast-paced commercial environment.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and audit procedures.Proficiency with financial software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and comfort with data-driven decision-making.Leadership and team management abilities, including mentoring staff, delegating tasks, and driving continuous improvement.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.Prior experience in retail, FMCG, or a similar industry is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Yangon and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
