Finance Manager

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Finance Manager to join a leading business in the social media and creative agency industry.This is a practical day-to-day finance role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail: keeping numbers accurate, processes moving and stakeholders well supported. You’ll be a key operational finance partner, rather than the person setting the overall finance strategy.You’ll likely have around 8 years’ finance experience and be part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).What you’ll doManage day-to-day financial operations for a busy account portfolioOwn budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and reconciliationsTrack spend, revenue, accruals and profitability, flagging risks and opportunitiesPartner with account teams on estimates, purchase orders, invoicing and finance queriesSupport month-end close, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and clearly explainedMaintain strong financial controls and ensure processes are followed consistentlyWork closely with internal finance colleagues and senior stakeholdersImprove practical ways of working where they make the team more efficientWhat you’ll bringAround 8 years’ relevant finance experience, ideally in a creative, marketing, media or agency environmentPart-qualified or fully qualified accountant statusStrong commercial judgement and excellent attention to detailConfidence working with budgets, forecasts, financial reports and reconciliationsA clear, collaborative communication style, with the ability to explain finance to non-finance colleaguesThe ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm when deadlines are tightA proactive, hands-on approach to solving problems
