Finance Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s financial and accounting operations, ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial control.The candidate should have strong experience in financial management, preferably within the real estate development and investment sector, with the ability to analyze financial performance, evaluate investment opportunities, manage financial risks, and provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management.Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills are essential for this role.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in developing the Finance Department’s strategic objectives, plans, and financial programs in alignment with the company’s strategy and real estate development and investment goals.Oversee financial and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with approved policies, procedures, regulations, and accounting standards.Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support financial sustainability and operational efficiency.Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and projections for the company and its projects, including variance analysis and corrective recommendations.Oversee the preparation and review of periodic and year-end financial statements and reports, providing financial analysis to senior management.Monitor and analyze the company’s and projects’ financial performance, including revenues, expenses, costs, profitability, and key financial indicators.Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and financing requirements to ensure sufficient financial resources and business continuity.Supervise accounting operations, financial records, general ledgers, bank accounts, reconciliations, and fixed assets.Ensure compliance with applicable financial, accounting, Zakat, and tax regulations and requirements.Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.Oversee project cost and profitability analysis and monitor the financial performance of real estate projects against approved budgets and forecasts.Evaluate real estate projects and investment opportunities from a financial perspective and prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and recommendations to support decision-making.Review contracts, agreements, transactions, and financial decisions, assessing their financial obligations, costs, risks, and potential impact on the company.Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management on budgeting, liquidity, financing, costs, investments, and overall financial performance.Oversee the development and enhancement of financial and accounting systems and technologies to improve data accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency.Prepare and present financial and management reports highlighting financial performance, key developments, challenges, and areas requiring management attention.Lead, supervise, and develop Finance and Accounting team members, ensuring effective performance and compliance with company policies and procedures.Identify the Finance Department’s workforce and technology requirements and support the provision of necessary resources.Monitor updates to relevant financial and accounting regulations and standards and assess their impact on the company’s policies and practices.Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the position as assigned within the approved scope of authority.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with significant experience in the real estate development and investment sector.Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.Proven experience in real estate project financial analysis, cost control, profitability analysis, and project feasibility assessment.Experience evaluating real estate investments, development projects, acquisitions, and financial transactions.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, Zakat and tax requirements, and applicable accounting standards.Experience in managing project budgets, development costs, financing requirements, and investment returns.Proven leadership experience managing Finance and Accounting teams.Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems.SOCPA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA certification is preferred.Experience with ERP systems and real estate financial management systems is an advantage.
