Planned across multiple delivery phases, WDDP brings together AI-ready data centres, energy infrastructure and a purpose-built campus environment to support the continued growth of cloud computing and artificial intelligence.The roleThe Finance Manager and Treasury Manager will be Zerra DC’s senior finance representative in Australia for Western Downs Digital Park. Based in Sydney, you will work closely with the Finance Director, CFO, Australian management team, investors and consortium partners, taking responsibility for the financial management, treasury, reporting and governance of WDDP and its Australian project entities.This is a hands-on role within a growing development platform. You will establish the controls, reporting rhythms, treasury processes and entity-level governance required as WDDP progresses through financial close and active delivery, while helping build the Australian finance capability as the project scales.What you will leadFinancial management of WDDP and its Australian project entities, including budgets, rolling forecasts, project cash flows and management reporting.Treasury and liquidity planning, including cash management, funding requirements, intercompany funding and project drawdown schedules.Clear financial reporting and analysis for the Finance Director, CFO, Australian leadership, investors, consortium partners and lenders.Statutory and management accounting processes, including month-end and quarter-end close, GST and BAS obligations, bank reconciliations and audit coordination.Financial governance across complex project and investment structures, including project entities, managed investment trust arrangements, intercompany recharges and transfer pricing.Visibility of project expenditure, commitments, cash requirements, cost-to-complete and material financial risks.The establishment of fit-for-purpose finance systems, controls, reporting calendars, cost structures and approval workflows.Finance partnering across Development, Commercial, Project Controls, Construction and Legal to support well-informed commercial decisions.Financial close, project financing and ongoing investor or lender requirements, supported by robust models, funding information and reporting.The growth and development of the Australian project finance team as WDDP moves through delivery and into operations.What you will bringYou will be a senior finance professional with experience supporting complex, capital-intensive developments or major projects. Your background may come from real estate development, logistics, infrastructure, energy, public-private partnerships or another environment involving multiple entities, significant project expenditure and sophisticated stakeholders.At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including responsibility for major developments or infrastructure projects.Strong capability across financial control, treasury, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, multi-entity reporting and Australian tax compliance.Experience with complex Australian investment or project structures, such as managed investment trusts, project SPVs, intercompany funding, transfer pricing or cross-charging.Confidence working with senior executives, boards, investors, joint-venture or consortium partners, lenders and external advisers.Advanced financial modelling, analytical and Excel capability, supported by strong financial-systems experience.The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insight for non-finance stakeholders.A practical, hands-on style and the ability to build systems and processes in a fast-moving organisation.A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline, together with CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.The opportunityThis is an opportunity to shape the Australian finance function supporting a major new digital infrastructure platform.
