The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing key financial operations, with particular focus on Accounts Receivable, escrow account management, financial reporting, cash flow and financial controls.The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with a UAE-based Real Estate Developer, with a strong understanding of the financial operations and requirements specific to the real estate development industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable & CollectionsOversee the complete Accounts Receivable function, including customer accounts, invoicing, collections and reconciliations.Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection of customer payments.Review customer statements and resolve discrepancies and payment-related issues.Prepare and monitor ageing reports and provide regular updates on collection status.Coordinate with the Sales, CRM and other relevant departments regarding customer payments and outstanding balances.Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and ensure proper allocation of receipts.Escrow Account ManagementManage and monitor real estate project escrow accounts and related financial transactions.Ensure proper recording, reconciliation and reporting of escrow transactions.Coordinate with banks and relevant internal departments regarding escrow account activities.Monitor project-related collections and disbursements in accordance with applicable requirements.Maintain accurate documentation and records relating to escrow accounts.Support the preparation of reports and documentation required for regulatory, audit and management purposes.Financial Reporting & AccountingOversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting activities.Review financial statements, reconciliations, schedules and supporting documentation.Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.Monitor general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliations.Coordinate with external auditors and provide required financial information and documentation.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.Cash Flow & Financial ManagementMonitor the company's cash flow position and working capital requirements.Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide management with regular financial updates.Monitor project collections, payment commitments and liquidity requirements.Support annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.Analyse financial performance and highlight significant variances to management.Internal Controls & ComplianceEstablish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and applicable UAE requirements.Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.Team & Stakeholder ManagementSupervise and guide the finance team in day-to-day accounting and financial activities.Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Projects, Procurement and other departments on finance-related matters.Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants and other external stakeholders when required.Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Mandatory RequirementsMinimum 8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.Mandatory experience with a UAE Real Estate Developer.Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and collections.Proven experience in real estate escrow account handling, reconciliation and reporting.Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and internal controls.Good understanding of UAE financial and regulatory requirements relevant to real estate development.Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.Education & Professional QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent will be an advantage.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:UAE Real Estate DevelopmentProperty/project-related Accounts ReceivableReal estate customer collectionsProject escrow accountsReal estate financial reportingCash flow and project financial managementUAE banking and regulatory processesKey CompetenciesFinancial Analysis & ReportingAccounts Receivable & CollectionsEscrow Account ManagementCash Flow ManagementFinancial ControlsBudgeting & ForecastingTeam ManagementStakeholder ManagementAttention to DetailProblem SolvingConfidentiality & Integrity
