Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole PurposeWe are looking for a highly hands-on, organized and commercially minded Finance Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day finance operations while providing reliable financial information and support to management.This role requires a doer — someone comfortable working directly with the numbers, resolving issues personally, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring deadlines are met rather than relying solely on delegation. The successful candidate must operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Take hands-on ownership of the company’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Manage and review timely monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports.
- Manage and continuously update cash flow forecasts, highlighting upcoming liquidity requirements and financial risks.
- Monitor supplier outstanding balances, payment priorities and agreed payment plans.
- Communicate proactively and responsively to internal and external stakeholders for support.
- Oversee customer receivables and actively follow up on overdue balances.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and actual-versus-budget variance analysis.
- Maintain strong control over COGS, inventory, operating expenses and working capital.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled and supported.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, landlords, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable VAT, Corporate Tax and other statutory requirements.
- Work closely with Operations, Procurement, HR and other departments to resolve financial and operational issues.
- Provide management with clear financial analysis and highlight risks, exceptions and areas requiring action.
- Improve financial processes, controls, SOPs and reporting where required.
- Support senior management with commercial and financial decision-making.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver accurately under tight deadlines.Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CMA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
- Approximately 7–10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including experience in a FinanceManager or similar role.
- Hospitality, F&B, restaurant or multi-site operational experience is strongly preferred.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, financial controls andfinancial reporting.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Experience managing multiple entities, outlets or business units would be an advantage.
