Finance Manager

Role Description The Director at Heba Awad Designs is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for leading the studio’s overall operations and creative vision. The Director will oversee project pipelines from concept through execution, ensuring design quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction. Daily tasks include guiding and mentoring the design team, setting priorities, reviewing work, and aligning projects with business objectives. The role involves managing client relationships, attending meetings, clarifying requirements, and presenting design proposals. The Director will also manage budgets, resources, and workflow efficiency, while contributing to strategic planning, business development, and brand positioning for the studio.QualificationsDemonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, mentoring, and performance oversight.Strong project management capabilities, such as planning, scheduling, and coordinating multiple design projects simultaneously.Business and strategic thinking skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and experience contributing to studio growth or business development.Proficiency in design-related fields (e.g., interior, fashion, graphic, or product design) with a strong portfolio showcasing creative direction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.Ability to make informed decisions, solve problems, and maintain quality standards under deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications are an advantage.Previous experience in a director, manager, or senior leadership role within a design or creative environment, ideally in Cairo or similar markets.
